Filling the gap for a better return on IT investment
In 2001 the founders of iPLATINUM saw a gap in the market in the form of an opportunity to help councils manage their investment in and return from information technology - more effectively and without significant cost increases.
It is testimony to the team’s vision that the company has grown organically since then, introducing new products in line with the evolution of technology and new services as customer needs have evolved. Since inception iPLATINUM has worked with about 100 councils across Australia to address these outcomes.
iPLATINUM marked its entry to the New Zealand local government sector in 2008 with a project to archive historical systems when Horowhenua Council on the North Island moved to Civica’s Authority solution. The project included archiving the Pathway , Finance One and Payglobal applications.
